The Mission of The Air Force Association is to educate the public about the critical role of aerospace power in the defense of our nation; to advocate aerospace power and a strong national defense; and to support the United States Air Force and the Air Force Family.

What we do

• AFA speaks at functions that include grass-roots chapter meetings and legislative round tables with Congressional leaders.
• AFA sponsors briefings by Air Force and DoD leaders at National symposia.
• AFA sponsors scholarships, grants and other awards to outstanding students, professionals, Reserve Officer Training Candidates and active duty Air Force members and their families.
